Children's Hospital of Michigan has received decades of generous support from Variety, The Children's Charity.  Variety has raised and contributed more than $1.75 million in support of programs that meet the physical and emotional needs of sick and injured children and their families.

Since 1986, Variety has channeled major funds and focused atten to the particular needs of the pediatric patient who is living with abnormalities of the heart.  As a result, the Variety Cardiology Center at Children's Hospital of Michigan was established.  The Center offers inpatient and out-patient cardiology services for over 4,500 children each year.

The Echo Cardiology Laboratory, Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, and exercise physiology equipment allow for sensitive diagnosis, safer examinations, and detailed evaluations.  New state-of-the-art echocardiograph equipment was generosity of Variety.

Then enduring relationship between Variety and Children’s Hospital illustrates the power of generosity, compassion, research and clinical expertise, all focused on helping to improve the lives of children.
